My Creative Journey

​

Growing up, I've always been into art and design, so I decided to pursue a career in Graphic Design.

I worked as an in-house designer for an advertising company which taught me how important good design and its power in today's digital world. 

 

From there, I took freelance work to help entrepreneurs create an identity for their businesses.

My curiosity about design led me to user experience. I was fascinated by product development and how design makes user's life easier by using technology. Fast forward to the present, I transitioned into UX Design to expand my product-making skills and create user-friendly products.

Fun Facts

​

👩🏻‍🎨 I was the school cartoonist all my high school years and part of the music club. I'm a self-taught guitarist thanks to YouTube. I still play my guitar in my free time but I usually enjoy listening to music while doing art or designing.

​

🧑🏻‍🔬 Before moving to California, I was a psychology major in the Philippines. Although I pursued a career in graphic and UX design, I find it beneficial to incorporate my knowledge of psychology into my design thinking.   

​

🌟 My free time consists of going on a hike once or twice a week and visiting my local museum and food places in LA. Most of my time was spent on my hobbies outside of work like cooking, painting, drawing, crocheting, sewing clothes, etc.
