I sketched out my character before I create it on illustrator so I can visualize how my character looks and have more control over changing my character's look.
Here's my character with the background photos I took that I turned into animation
using illustrator.
Here's the final Clip of my character design and short animation. I edit and save different movements of my character through illustrator and I edit the animation through adobe animate.
